I had a great time too, all the lovely yarn to root through as well, thanks to Mara and Peakwool.

And thank you to Glitterstar yet again for all the lifts, once I can drive I'll return the favour.

Thanks from me too - just sorry I couldn't stay all that long. I did enjoy meeting everyone though , and I've managed to sneak the wool that I bought into the house without being spotted (yet!)

What a lovely, lovely time I had. Thanks to everyone for that. Thank you Mara for being such a good host, sorry we were such terrible guests that you had to lock yourself away :(

It was Julie and she's not on the forum yet. (I'll post for you Julie - Julie says "Thanks for a lovely time Mara!")

I felt really stupid calling you Lucy by the way. I saw you at the door and said, Oh, Lucy's here. Knowing full well you were Gempud and then when you walked in the room and I said Hello Lucy, the stupidity continued...... Can I call you Lucy from now on  It's a bit like Gempud :hihi: I know who you are - honest ;)

Wheezy, that's bad but not as bad as what I did.

I lived next door to a chap who I called Bob for the 2 and a half years we lived there. It was only once we moved that my husband told me his name was Sean Champion. I gues I got confused by his surname

That's fine, I can be called Lucy....it's better than some of the other names I get called. I would prefer 'Oh Fantabulous One' though :)

Youve got to tell me all about the strange headgear in this second photo. What is it?

It reminds me of what my husband said to me last night in bed. I was looking through my patterns and he said "C'mon put away your knitting porn and get that light off".:hihi:

That is a balaclava which a friend of mine knitted for me. She hasn't knitted in years but saw the pattern and thought of me!:hihi:

I love it! I know it's scary, but it's great fun and really warm.

With your permission I would like to send the picture to a friend of mine who likes things like that. It'll make his day.

That would be my pleasure. I'll bring it to the next meet and you can photo yourself wearing it!
