Photography classes

Hi All

Does anyone know if there are any courses on photography in Sheffied...I have just bought a really nice camera and would like to know how to use it correctly etc.

I have a long standing dream of doing photography but no confidence really..

I am sure a course would help things along but the best way is just to read the manual then get out there and shoot. You will pick up the technicalities as you go along. I think that you will benefit more from a course when you have enough experience to know what you want to shoot and have learned the basics. The you can go for more on lighting techniques or post-processing etc.

You can try posting pictures on here with some idea of what you want to achieve and you should get some feedback. There are plenty of other sites for comment and critique, although it can be rather negative sometimes.
