Dogs can go into kennels and cats into a cattery but where do you send your rabbit to be looked after when you go on hols?

My neighbours do the honours when I go away for a week but
I don't like asking for 2 weeks.

For instance do the RSPCA do this sort of thing? I have looked at their website but come up with nothing. Any ideas?

Im pretty sure there is someone out there on the forum that would be willing to home your rabbit whilst you have your hols :D

Ive heard of cattery, kennels but never a Rabbitry :shakes:

cant you get a relative to house sit and look after the pets for you? I know my gran often gets me to house sit when she goes on holiday because its just easier than putting the cats in kennels and the neighbours looking after her bunnies and ginua pigs...

all she has to do for me is stock up the freezer with food :D

Hi,
I'm sure last year a friend of mine had her rabbit boarded out at a house near Heeley. If you're stuck send me a pm and I'll make further enquiries and see if I can get a name and number.

I thought it sounded like a way of preparing it for the table for eating also.

Silly me

There's a small animal holiday place in Heeley if you don't get any takers

Or I'm sure Brude will be willing to share his cage :D

You may need to PM her.

That was posted in January, so she may not spot this ;)

When I go to pets at home at Drakehouse, I usually have a look on the noticeboard. I remember seeing an ad' on there for small pets holiday homes.

Next time I go i'll make a note of the contact details for you.
