I need to get some gold or silver lettering onto some glass. does anybody know a quick and easy way of doing this?
I can get transfer paper (decals, I think they're called) for my printer, but as I don't have gold ink in my printer, that won't work.
Does anybody know if dynamo do a silver/gold tape? ('Spose I'd need to find somewhere to borrow a Dynamo machine tho')
Any ideas?
I'm trying to aviod having to do 120 names with one of those squeezy glass painting kits.
What about gold/silver tile spray paint and the letters cut out as a stencil! I would think tile paint would stick to glass.
B & Q sell the tile paint.
Thanks Wendy. I've done stencilling (wood dye) before, and the stencils would probably take longer to cut out than freehanding.
I'll remember the product though....I'm sure I'll find a use..... :D

I don't think Dymo do metallics.
Is it important that only the text gets applied?
Metallic (Gold, Silver) inkjet media is available that you can print Black Text onto.

 I suppose I could apply a silver band right round each glass. Might be difficult to get it to meet each side, but may be possible...
Where did you see this stuff cgk? Is it a transfer?
Anybody got any more ideas?

I've never used it myself.
You might want to talk to Pinders. They may have metallic inks in which case they could print your transfers for you.

Those appear to be plastic sheets, rather than something I can stick to the glass, but thanks for looking for me.
I'll try Pinders though, or I may be able to find ink to put in my printer, if I look hard enough!
Cheers Cgk!
