Help!

I've heard we're having a xmas do at the "Bar 23" in West One (top of fiztwilliam street), but i can't find out any info, or what it's like - Google find's nothing!.

Has anyone heard of it, or know if it's any good? - thanks.

Excellent place, you should have a good time!

Classy bar and excellent service , you wote be dissapointed. I always see myself going to bar 23 when ive got the time off. Especially for a nice cocktail .

Be prepared to pay £3.50- £4 for a bottle of Kelham Island beer...nice bar but you pay for it...

I organised our Christmas meal there last year. We had about 25 people and they looked after us well. The service was good and not too slow. The only criticism I could make was that the portions were a bit small. It's one of those restaurants where it's a high standard of food, but it tends towards the nouvelle cuisine view of presentation, although obviously not that extreme.

I'd recommend it though.

Thanks everyone for the info - sounds good, the firm are paying for the grub so that should offset the bar prces!!

Stop going on about the prices you tight gits.. get yourself to the local working mens club.

Bar 23 is class, and you have to pay for it.

i agree with jack danny, you pay for quality and thats pretty much what you get there.
definatly worth goin.
