i need to hire a carpet shampooer for domestic use, for either this evening or early tomorrow morning.

Does anyone know where i can get one from please? I remember seeing a leaflet in Tesco on Ecclesall rd, but can't remember if i could get it from the store straight away.

most d.i.y stores hire them out ive seen 1 near the door of the diy store at meadowhell reatail park dont know how much they charge tho :hihi:

There's a laundrette/dry cleaners next to the Somerfields supermarket up Ecclesall Road towards the Banner Cross end. They hire carpet cleaners. They're open 8am till late.

Goodman Sparkes the dry cleaners next to Somerfield on Ecclesall Road (as you head up to Banner Cross) do very good hire rates including shampoo.

I'd agree about Killi's.

You could also try MoClean - if he's still going he used to do the cleaning for not much more than it costs to hire a machine.

You could also try MF Hire on east bank road - just off the ring road near McDonalds at the granville road junction.

We needed one for a weekend and found they were as cheap as anywhere else, but also delivered it.

I'd also recommend Killis Cleaners on Glossop Rd, they are always very helpful and reasonably priced.

I hired one from homebase- was cheap and worked well
