Just been watching Look North and they had an interview with Streetforce ,as part of Europe in Bloom the Steelman floral sculpture that was outside the Town Hall last year is going to get a companion which will be a Buffer girl.....How sweet!

I love Look North - you can guarantee that every morning there will only be stories about the traffic, someone raising money for charity or something council/government related (floral displays, the Earth Centre, etc.). No risk of being made depressed first thing in the morning!

But back on topic, yeah, good to see that Sheffield is continuing with the floral displays - it's all the little things that add together to make a more welcoming/prettier city.

I think the council did a great job this year, with the Blue Agave and palm trees etc. they realy improved the look of the city. The winter crocus (I think thats what they were) down near Staples looked especialy good.
