A couple of my friends had theirs done at Thornbury on Fulwood Road. Expensive, but worth it!

How can you have a 4D scan? What is the 4th dimension?

I think 4d is when a 3d image is "moving". So the 4d image is the video of the baby wriggling around.

I also recommend Baby View, we had ours two years ago and it was great - my wife's currently 23 weeks pregnant, so are looking to book again. Last time we did it at 27 weeks, but this time we're going to wait a bit longer.

I had a look at a few other local places online, but babyview is still far and away the cheapest. Our only gripe was we expected smoother motion on the video - normal video is around 24 frames a second, this is more like 1 frame a second. Not sure if that's just BabyView, or that's as far as the technology can go currently.

yes babyview definately, they are fantastic, if for any reason the pics are not too good ie the baby's face is hidden etc you dont have to pay, my baby is 5.5 months and i had the scan done at 28 weeks, it was a bit fiddly to find but they made us more than welcome, we even took two older kids, good luck
