hi all, i've got my graduation coming up and my sister is coming along with my 4 month old nephew. Does anyone know of any places which would make her feel really comfortable? I was considering Cafe Rouge near the fountains as its near City Hall, has a good menu and supposedly caters for babies/kids. Any advice? Money isnt really a problem as its a special occassion plus i probably wont be paying :hihi:

You're really spoilt for choice. Any particular style of food? - here (http://www.sheffield-central.com/restaurants.htm)

if i get a bad response for Cafe Rouge i think Mexican sounds like a good plan just for the Tapas variety...

cafe rouge is certainly great for kids.
I have heard that Piccolinos at the peace gardens is very child friendly too.

I can recommend Ask, opposite John Lewis.

The staff are friendly but not in your face, the food is very good, its clean, theyre really nice to kids and theres a good atmosphere.

And I think the honeycomb cheesecake is still on the menu. It's worth it just for that!

I went to cafe rouge recently and thought the atmosphere was good and the staff were good but the food was overpriced and not particularly great.

yeh Ask was gonna be my second choice but has more chance of being overcrowded with Graduates and making it a not so nice atmosphere for a 4month old....still in with a shout though.

Don't go to Cafe Rouge unless you like microwave food...bloody awful.
