Hi

My mouse has a mind of it's own, whenever I click on a tab (I'm using Firefox) to close it or click forward/backward to pages, it seems to close/turn everything in two's instead of just the desired singular movement.

I've tried looking into the 'mouse' settings through the control panel, and have run anti-virus programs etc, but still I get the same annoying response. Pages overrun and tabs close against my wishes!

Is this familiar?

sounds like your left button is 'dieing' - my microsoft mouse i had a few years back did that... Swap the mouse buttons in control panel... and use the right as left for a while, see if it still does it....
