One of my BF's young relatives is studying photography and her college uses Pentax K series lenses, so she's looking for a compatible camera body that she can acquire for as few pounds as possible.

If anyone happens to have one or know someone who does, please let me know.

Thanks muchly.

Have a look at:

www.ffordes.co.uk under the used section I can highly recommend Ffordes describing the used equipment it is.

Also:
http://www.mxv.co.uk/ may be worth a look although I have not bought from them.

Also this should give you some ideas of the bodies you are looking for:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pentax_K_mount#Cameras

As a former Pentax user I can recommend the K1000, ME Super and LX although I suspect an LX will cost a fair bit.

I think that she's looking for a K1000 ideally- thanks for the links GrinderBloke.
