Was just wondering,if you had 1 thing you could change about Sheffield what would it be?.I would probably sort all the traffic problems on Brooke Hill:)

I would re-lay every road in the city. When I got my car there were no rattles. 6 months on this citys' roads has really taken its toll

I would relocate Sheffield to somewhere on the coast!

Build little subways, footbridges and zebra crossings for squirrels and badgers to stop the dreadful animal carnage on the city's roads.

Take Sheffield out of time back to 1960 when kids could walk and play in the streets ,parks and wander around getting into mischief the same as i did without any fears that parents now have for their saftey,To experience going out to play after breakfast coming home for lunch then going back untill it was time for tea!

You lucky thing.....I was sent out after breakfast with a salad cream sarnie in a carrier back and told to come back for tea !!!! At least you could eat lunch at home.

That's nothing. My parents sent me out at 6am with only a piece of tree bark and half a sultana and told me not to come back till it went dark. On at least one occasion they moved house while I was at school and never even bothered to tell me!

I would make buses cheaper and bring back circular routes rather than in and out of city centre. I would put on school buses particularly to the schools with sixth forms so that kids were not put off because of the journey. I would make it easier to get a student bus pass and extend availability to kids going to school in Derbyshire.

i would seconed this new roads allover
would save lives
would save money
would just be better

People would complain that cars are driving too fast on the smooth new roads then the council would slap a load of speed bumps on them. Might as well just keep the natural bumps instead! :)

What Sheffield really needs is a monorail

I would send our traffic planners on secondment to Leeds for a laugh..
