the Springfield Tavern, opposite Hallamshire Hospital , good food reasonable prices, nice clean pub. Buffet if req. to suit your budget and possibly play your music. Give Clare or Graham a ring on 249 0464

Try the newly refurbished Roebuck Tavern on Charles Street, excellent menu or can do a buffet, also has excellent outside seating area for smokers.

Pizza Express on Devonshire Green gives you the whole top floor to yourself if there's enough of you, which is quite nice
