:clap:Hello! I shall be teaching poledancing classes at the Earl of Arundel and Surrey pub, Queens Rd, starting in November! :clap:

In order to introduce myself and my classes I'll be doing a demonstration night at the Earl on the 13th October, starting at 8pm. Basically I'll be showing a few poledancing moves and be around to answer any questions people might have about it all... If anyone fancies a go they're more than welcome to try a few spins! Or if you just want to come down for a drink and a natter then thats ok too.

By the way - its fitness poledancing, so if you expect anyone to get their kit off you'll be disappointed!

What day of the week will the classes be?
Will they be in the main bit of the pub where everyone can see?!

Don't worry the classes will be upstairs in the function room, not in the main pub!

I'm definitely going to be doing Sunday evenings, and maybe Wednesday evenings if theres enough demand for it. I have 3 poles and will only allow 6 people maximum into a class - thats 2 per pole. If lots of people want to do it, I'll start by doing 2 or 3 classes back to back on Sundays, so up to 18 people can come, spread across the evening.

I think because the numbers are so low for each class I'm going to have to get people to book in advance either by phone or email... The nice thing about small classes though is that you get more teaching time, and more help on the stuff that you're stuck on.

I can't say much more for definite until after the 13th, when hopefully I have a better idea of how many people actually want to do the classes.

Of course they can! Maybe some the dancy stuff wouldn't suit blokes, but a lot of the climbs and poses on the pole look fantastic when men do them - really acrobatic.

very interested will the classes be for a limited time omly or indefinitly

I'm hoping the classes will keep going indefinitely! It really depends on how many people want to do them - I think there's going to be a lot at the start, but then numbers are likely to go down as people lose interest... Fingers crossed it'll be a success though!

Theres been a fantastic response to my original post - thanks everyone whose replied to me in various ways!

Just wanted to mention, I decided to have a raffle on Saturday - there are two prizes to be won: Each winner will get 1 free poledancing class, a bottle of wine, and a chocolate orange.

I figured if people don't want to learn to poledance, the chocolate orange and some wine may still tempt them into buying a ticket...

All proceeds will go to Heeley City Farm, as they are a registered charity located practically next to the Earl. Its also a great place to wander around if you ever get a spare couple of hours :)

went to the lesson last night and it was fab, had a great time and is well worth a visit! Eve is a lovely girl and is very good at what she does....!!! :)

If anyone still wants to come to a class, feel free to get in touch! I'm doing classes on Sundays (6-7pm, 7-8pm and 8-9pm) and 2 on Wednesdays (6-7pm and 7-8pm). You will need to book if you want to come along though, don't just turn up cos space is limited.
