View Full Version : All hail the mighty Plug!
discodown 22-09-2007, 08:37 PM Take a look at some of the guests Plug have got lined up for the next few weeks:-
Mark Knight (tonight)
Seamus Haji
Axwell
Steve Angello
Felix Da Housecat
And theres loads i've not even mentioned. Thank god they are around, nobody else in town could bring that calibre of guest which is good enough to grace any city.
Plug, I salute you!
Stormy 22-09-2007, 08:57 PM I agree, top marks. Nice to see a thread praising Sheffields nightlife for a change as well DD.
Agent Gypo 22-09-2007, 09:14 PM Not really my cup of tea. Though Felix is well worth seeing if you haven't done so before.
Stormy 22-09-2007, 09:51 PM Maybe not your cup of tea but at least Sheffield is getting the big hitters in. Maybe it'll get more people intrested in Sheffields dance scene who wouldnt normally venture out. Cant hurt anyway!
Ive seen Felix, he is good, really original as well. Axwell is gonna be swweeetttt, he ripped creamfields apart, proper cant wait for it!
Agent Gypo 23-09-2007, 01:33 AM Ay, it's all good. The more the merrier.
discodown 23-09-2007, 11:01 AM its a damn shame i can't actually go to any of these events!
astronaut77 23-09-2007, 11:44 AM I've heard loads about Plug but never been. Where is it?
discodown 23-09-2007, 12:30 PM near where fuel was
astronaut77 23-09-2007, 02:15 PM Ok, showing my age here, but is that where Berlins used to be years ago?
Stormy 23-09-2007, 03:13 PM Yeah thats it. If you walk up the road where crasher used to be, cross the main road its on your left on the corner. Opposite the chicken place
astronaut77 23-09-2007, 03:48 PM Oh i know where you mean now. Didn't there used to be another club there some years ago? Can't remember the name of it.
Stormy 23-09-2007, 04:21 PM .Zero was there. It still is in essence, The plug incorporates that room with 2 others, a huge one and a smaller bar style one. The .Zero room (Neutral they call it now) is still the best IMO!
x_Sunshine_x 23-09-2007, 05:27 PM Axwell! I'll be there, I saw him in Ibiza on Wednesday night and he was amazing. Yes Stormy, I'm going to mention Ibiza at every opportunity ;) teehee.
They do have some good DJs lined up though, so much for saving my pennies! xXx

Yayy you're back! Hope you had a wicked time. Are you and deano coming to mine on Friday for an UG pre-party? And afterwards, for the afterparty!?
xx
Pipine 23-09-2007, 07:01 PM I ended up at Plug for Mark Knight last night and I wasn't that impressed. Wrong sort of music for me.. the tunes build then go nowhere.. there was the odd good tune, but generally it was lacking I thought. I just don't get on with todays idea of 'house'. It wasn't exactly rammed either.

Get yersen down to Axwell on the 13th, your faith in house shall be restored!
Which room was it in by the way? We went to D.Ramirez a couple of weeks back, and whilst the music was ace it was pretty quiet cos it was being held in the Live room. But with fuel moving out I was expecting Twisted to move back to the .Zero room......?

It was in all three rooms, but they closed the .zero room around 1am, the small bar room (earth?) and .zero rooms were empty most of the night anyway and live was no where near full. I was expecting it to be busier now the students are back.
