View Full Version : Mexican Restaurants Ghosthunter 22-09-2007, 02:20 PM After trying lots of Indian and Chinese foods, my mates and I are looking for a good Mexican restaurant in Sheffield. We have been told of two good ones on West St. But dont know what they are called!! Can anyone suggest and good and resonably priced place for us to try? Cheers!! anniec 22-09-2007, 02:23 PM La Mancha is on West Street, across from WokMania and is lovely. It's reasonable in price and you get massive portions. I love this place. The staff are fab too! Bunnydog 23-09-2007, 01:01 PM La Mancha is tapas, its not Mexican. K Pasa on West St has some mexican style food, but its not a trad mexican. I am looking for a good mexican too! The one in West One is expensive & bit of a rip off I thought. There used to be one at bottom of moor which was good (Gringos?), dont know if its there anymore. Chiquitos at Centretainment does reasonable Tex-mex food, its part of a big chain though. swordfish1 23-09-2007, 07:35 PM Never been to La Mancha, just thought I'd post the link. I've actually been to different parts of Mexico on a few occasions (in fact have only got back from there last wednes!), and have NEVER found a true Mexican restaurant in this country. Definitely worth a try.;) Dark Moomin 24-09-2007, 01:41 PM Las Iguanas is in west One - South American rather than Mexican, but very good. Went once, and had an enormous amount of tapas for 4 people and drinks came to about £80 I think! Its not cheap - but not pricey. |
