Can anyone recomend a good children's entertainer? Either a clown or a magician or circus tricks. It is for a 4 year olds birthday party. Also if you have an idea of how much it will cost, that would be helpfull. Thanks

All I know is avoid Barbara with the dogs - she's rude and barking! Insulted my friend's house and suggested it wasn't worthy of her act, which was in fact, rubbish.

Have a look in the Parenting Group as there is already a thread about this, but I highly recommend Kimmo, he is fantastic. You can find his details if you do a member search on here.

we had Steve the clown for a party. He was great. He came from Barnsley, i think it was £120 for 2 hours but i shared the price with my friend as both our kids have birthdays on the same day, He entertained 30 plus kids easily and some of them had special needs.

try the Rapide Brothers

we saw them at a party at Bradfield, and everyone aged 2 - elderly people enjoyed the show and trying circus skills.

really nice, no sarcastic jokes like some entertainers go for.

Good for the age group too, he's frequently hired by local nursery schools.

Thanks very much for the recommendation.

Click on the link to my website below and you can view video clips of my show and a short promo.

Graham (Professor Shell) is a good friend of mine and I would agree that he is excellent, particularly for younger children.

Hope this helps

Try 'Lucy Lost It' She is great, and the kids loved her. You can find all her details on the internet, just type in Lucy Lost It. Good Luck!

We had Bumblezz for my daughters 5th Birthday last Saturday. It was a husband and wife team and they did face painting, balloon modelling and magic show. It was a party of 40 kids and they had them all focussed. They involved her in the show and she loved the whole thing.
Would definitely recommend.:)
