View Full Version : Children's entertainer recommendations
blacktamba 22-09-2007, 09:30 Can anyone recomend a good children's entertainer? Either a clown or a magician or circus tricks. It is for a 4 year olds birthday party. Also if you have an idea of how much it will cost, that would be helpfull. Thanks
slickwitch 22-09-2007, 10:03 All I know is avoid Barbara with the dogs - she's rude and barking! Insulted my friend's house and suggested it wasn't worthy of her act, which was in fact, rubbish.
Frenchie 22-09-2007, 12:07 Have a look in the Parenting Group as there is already a thread about this, but I highly recommend Kimmo, he is fantastic. You can find his details if you do a member search on here.
genie 12 22-09-2007, 13:23 we had Steve the clown for a party. He was great. He came from Barnsley, i think it was £120 for 2 hours but i shared the price with my friend as both our kids have birthdays on the same day, He entertained 30 plus kids easily and some of them had special needs.

we saw them at a party at Bradfield, and everyone aged 2 - elderly people enjoyed the show and trying circus skills.
really nice, no sarcastic jokes like some entertainers go for.

Good for the age group too, he's frequently hired by local nursery schools.

There is another thread on here about this. Just replied there too - the above entertainer is fab. Had him for my daughters 5th birthday - very funny xx
We had Bumblezz for my daughters 5th Birthday last Saturday. It was a husband and wife team and they did face painting, balloon modelling and magic show. It was a party of 40 kids and they had them all focussed. They involved her in the show and she loved the whole thing.
Would definitely recommend.:)
