Can anyone suggest golf clubs in the sheffield area that offer reasonably priced membership. Must have practice facilities.

What price would you consider as reasonable ?

around £500 for the amount i actually get to play in a year.

Try doubling that figure & add on to that a joining fee of around a grand.Have you thought about pay & play at courses like Beauchief,Tinsley etc ?

We play all those already but just looking around to see if their is a viable option for membership. Have found a few in the area that offer lower priced membership but qualify of those courses doesn't seem too high (that's the trade off i guess).

Maybe i should just up sticks and move to Scotland where good golf is cheaper.

that was one of them i believe. There were also some over worksop way which i think were reasonable priced.

Yearly subs are not that bad & are pretty much the "sameish" in Sheffield, but it's the joining fee that is a bit pricey for me & what exactly is it for ?
