I went for a meeting at Woodthorpe forum yesterday to help me with my project. I just wanted to let people know of the great work they do.
One of their projects is CHANGING TIMES. This is ran from Woodthorpe School, Sheffield , S13. Time Bank began in America where it is now a big thing.
The idea behind Time Bank is that people bank time by using skills that they have to help others, and claim back the time in skills and services from other people. It brings communities together and really helps alot of people. It is for everyone. They really do look for people to help with almost anything. This can be something like dog walking, gardening, sewing or even just companionship. They particularly need people who would be willing to help with gardening. Anyone can help no matter their age or race.
