I for instance am messing about on here and filling out job application forms when I should actually be working out a costing for a contract.

At the moment this is unappealing hence my procrastination .......... on the other hand tea and a fag is looking like a very viable option.

Are there any other slackers out there???

yes, but lets keep it quiet eh
:suspect:

By the weekend I should have enough work piled up to keep me awake at night.

Oddly enough this morning my wanderings here are strictly legit...:)

I'm at home playing catch up for an hour or so.

I blame the employers....if they can't keep us busy enough they have no right in expecting us NOT to occupy our minds with trivia! :)

I've got essays piling up behind me, i should be reading/planning the next one..but i'm using the excuse of lingering here while i have breakfast and coffee to wake me up enough for work :D:clap: :suspect:

hee hee - I suspected I was not alone!

I wish it was a case of not having enough work to do but I can really see it stacking up.... still never mind! Let the slacking commence.

Definately. I am surfing the forum when I should be marking essays, and finishing writing a chapter for a colleague's book. I feel guilty, but I find the forum addictive, and a nice break.

We Britons do on average £4K of unpaid overtime each every year!

I think we deserve a few hours here and there to skive on the internet.

I should also be working hard helping people do things, but to be honest i don't much care. I much prefer spending my time rading the forum. I do what i need to do and thats all!! I work to live not live to work - isn't that how it should be ???

Swings and roundabouts!

UK Employers get away with murder.

As for working for myself, I do...worked xmas, worked new year, worked with flu, worked with temperature of over 100.

And I still think that UK workers need to be cut more slack.
