My son was due to go away with the school shortly (his first night away from home with school) but he hurt his leg which is now in a splint for the next few weeks. Now because of all the walking involved in the trip he wont be able to go so he was gutted as he was really looking forward to it as unfortunalty hes not been to the coast before or seen the sea.
When the wife told his headteacher today he wont be going, out of the blue he turned to my son and said 'Dont worry, as soon as your leg is better ill take you for a day trip instead'.
My boy was beeming from ear to ear and now wont stop talking about it.
What a top bloke and such a nice thing to do.
Thankyou:):)
