I know it's months until Xmas, but as my baby is due a few days before we are trying to get ready earlier than usual. Now, does, anyone know of any farm shops/buchers that sell free-range turkeys?

We ordered ours from these last year and I can honestly say that it was the best we have ever tasted. The turkey's a free range in a wood (there natural habitat) and the taste is fantastic. Debbie who owns the farm is lovely; delivery is overnight by courier and last year cost us £5. Even with this the turkey was much cheaper than a free range one I could have purchased locally. They're always friendly and helpful, so worth going in for a chat. James7x7 18-09-2007, 13:50 Congratulations. Roney's do free range turkeys that are supposed to very good (Delia Smith and Gordan Ramsey recommend them). We got a free range goose from the fishmongers in Woodseats last year. It was delicious - much nicer than turkey. Plus you get loads of goose fat for your roast potatoes. esstenn 22-09-2007, 03:15 The Butchers shop in crosspool (next to the travel agent). They are free range and fantastic! BlackVelvet 22-09-2007, 11:37 Any of the crawshaws butchery chain will provide you with one.
