My e mailing has been down all day. Has anyone else suffered the same problem?

I could answer this with two words and three numbers:confused:

But to do so would probably get my reply removed, so here I am trying to expand a simple answer in to (almost) an essay.

Anyway, in answer to your question....

No.:D Call 150:D :D (would've been my original answer)!;)

I have been phoning the blueyonder helpline up since yesteday morning, and have until now, recieved no joy.

That's why I thought I'd ask to see if anyone was in the same predicament on SF.

Cheers. I do know how to ring 150, but when you can't get a satisfactory answer, don't you think it's worthwhile asking around?

I should hope so too. My reply was my (poor) attempt @ humour.

Doing the 150 thing with the phone though, usually results in a telephone message informing us of any known problems, before you get through to "support"..;)

What email client are you using?
If your using (with)OUTLOOK (without luck;)), have the settings been changed?

Also, have you tried another email client?

If you have a firewall, make sure port 25 is not being blocked?

Also, the BY status page indicates problems with webmail. Don't think it's related, but could be??

Anyway, still no problem using emails here.

Their web mail's been very flakey today - there's a support ticket open for it here:

Thanks for all you help. I finally got sorted after my third phone call today.

Yes, it is a firewall problem, it was changing my incoming mail address to something or other.

Anyway, I think I know what to do when it happens again.
