Get ringnecks- I used to have an indian ringnecked parakeet and he was fab. Not a talker though. I cant have anything else feathered - bad enough keeping the feline hunters away from our elderly cockatiel. I feel sorry for him- on his own now his cage mate has gone to bird heaven - most of the time they leave him alone but we have to keep him in a room on his own just in case (well, not quite on his own, hes got the 3 fishes n radio 4 to keep him entertained), but we darent let him out, poor old lad. Wouldnt get another, not fair on it really, where we live now.
