Im looking for somewhere to go for a birthday meal on Saturday and have been looking at The Yard and Zuccas, has anyone eaten here before, what are your opinions?

I have been told it's nice but it's pretty bloosy expensive.

We've dined at Zucca a few times and found it very good.

I would say Zucca has the slightly better ambience (decor and atmosphere'wise) to The Yard.

I'd advise wrapping up though cos we've always found the air con quite cold - especially now the weather's turned from Spring to Autumn all of a sudden!

Yes the grolsh in the bar is very expensive ... the free nibbles hardly make up for it ...
