Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could be so kind as to recommend a good swimming centre for adult swimming lessons. I've rung Ponds and the waiting list is closed and will not open until March!!!!

Thankyou for your help and time

They teach adults at goodwin (the university swimming pool). If you ring 0114 2220000 they should be able to put you through to the sports bit.

If you live at the south/south east side of Sheffield then Eckington baths do adult classes. Swimming teacher is Wendy and she is fantastic.

Try Upperthorpe, get the Tram to Infirmary Road and then walk up by the side of Tesco's and round to Upperthorpe.
