Looking For Decent Venues/Gigs wanted

Hey folks,

My band are just getting round to gigging and i was wondering if you could perhaps suggest some venues in sheffield to get in contact with for gigs.

We don't have a cd yet, we're due to record an e.p at the end of october/start of november, so sending in a demo isn't possible yet.

We're a pop punk band from Rotherham, who try and place the emphasis on having fun, instead of only thinking about the money.

We'll play anywhere and everywhere, we just really want to get out there and have a laugh

Grapes, Under The Boardwalk, West Street Live, The Nelson, The Riverside, The Howard, Casbah, Boardwalk, The Cricketers, The Moorfoot Tavern, The Dove and Rainbow.

take your pick, plenty putting gigs on, quality of sound/venues is up for debate but if you research the above you should be able to get some gigs, but more likely with a recording so they can pair you with (vaguely) similar bands.

I put on bands for the Moorfoot. PM me with details of how long your set is and how many people you are likely to bring along to support you.

To be honest, we've only just started gigging, so were not likely to bring that many people, we're trying to build our rep, which is why we want support slots etc.

Hopefully when we've played a few more gigs, we'll be able to bring a crowd
