Also, bladesufc1, I'm counting mate and thats now the 1464th time you've used the 'mummy' joke. . . Heres a tip, try spelling this: O-R-I-G-I-N-A-L-I-T-Y Let me know how far you get. Also, before I forget to ask, hows the beginning of term been for you? hope you're not still getting bullied by the girls for having that skunk rucksack. Let teacher know, Remember, thats what form tutors are for. As for little m and my inconsequential flannelling of SWFC, Well, it seems my words are not quite as inconsequential today are they. The next time you decide to type your witless, thoughtless and mind-blowingly tedious words on here - I feel it may be with a mouthful of 'humble pie' eh? Now to more serious matters, Sheffield Wednesday. After the performance today against Hull I think we may well have gained that bit of confidence we needed. Jeffers ( who has been the butt of jokes so far ) had a terrific game. as did Johnson, he was immense! Wednesday were passing the ball about beautifully and playing much like how they finished off last season. The fans were 100% behind them and the atmosphere was electric! All I can say is Thank god I'm not a blunt! Like Jazzy pointed out, they were on Radio Sheffield after the match, whinging and groaning AGAIN! :hihi: C'mon Wednesday!!! pitsmoorlad 23-09-2007, 06:08 All I can say is Thank god I'm not a blunt! Like Jazzy pointed out, they were on Radio Sheffield after the match, whinging and groaning AGAIN! :hihi: C'mon Wednesday!!! Yep I heard that on Radio Sheff. Don't have it on much but was in the car. It went something like " and another thing, if we didn't have Beattie we'd be below Wednesday ". Then there was a heated debate about Lucketti, Jags, Geary, Quinn and the defense being slow. Looks like the "we're going to walk this league" brigade are back down to earth with a resounding . . . . . Bump Robbie Loving 23-09-2007, 13:19 All I can say is Thank god I'm not a blunt! Like Jazzy pointed out, they were on Radio Sheffield after the match, whinging and groaning AGAIN! :hihi: Expectations are high at the Lane, that's why we don't get ecstatic over small wins over crap teams for our first win of the season..... mack69 23-09-2007, 15:34 Expectations are high at the Lane, that's why we don't get ecstatic over small wins over crap teams for our first win of the season..... were/are scunny, blackpool and colchester crap teams  dont tell me you would not be ecstatic to have beaten scunny ,blackpool and colchester you would be top of the league if you had :) Lestat 23-09-2007, 17:02 were/are scunny, blackpool and colchester crap teams  dont tell me you would not be ecstatic to have beaten scunny ,blackpool and colchester you would be top of the league if you had :) Totally agree with you, if they'd beaten the likes of Scunny & Blackpool, not only would they be ecstatic but wouldn't have to put up with us laughing at them too. :hihi::hihi::hihi: mack69 23-09-2007, 18:01 Expectations are high at the Lane, that's why we don't get ecstatic over small wins over crap teams for our first win of the season..... maybe you should lower those expectations you aint exactly setting the league on fire long way to go i suppose:thumbsup: Jazzybmzoo 23-09-2007, 18:35 She looks like she's having a good time: link (http://www.countryjam.com/Blow-up-doll.jpg) :hihi::hihi: Hee, hee! Do I detect a sense of humour amongst the Blunts these days. Miracles do happen. What next? Flying pigs? happyhippy 23-09-2007, 19:25 were/are scunny, blackpool and colchester crap teams  dont tell me you would not be ecstatic to have beaten scunny ,blackpool and colchester you would be top of the league if you had :) Which isn't exactly where you lot are either mate :) Unless it's upside down :P happyhippy 23-09-2007, 19:27 Hee, hee! Do I detect a sense of humour amongst the Blunts these days. Miracles do happen. What next? Flying pigs? Only when you go on your next whoring jaunt to Shetland and you can't wait for the ferry ;) Robbie Loving 23-09-2007, 21:14 were/are scunny, blackpool and colchester crap teams  dont tell me you would not be ecstatic to have beaten scunny ,blackpool and colchester you would be top of the league if you had :) These are teams I would expect to beat normally. But it turned out that we struggled against these teams (well we didn't against Colchester, but they still got the point) It's not really anything to be ashamed of, Scunnie's home record is very admirable. Blackpool was poor conditions with a poor second half, and Colchester, well we deserved the 3 points there...... I would have been happy with 3 points from all these games, and yes we would now be top, but the simple reality was we weren't good enough to do so. I'd be mightily pleased to be top at this point..... but it's a marathon ;) maybe you should lower those expectations you aint exactly setting the league on fire long way to go i suppose:thumbsup: Maybe so, but if you don't have high expectations, perhaps you are looking too low? |
