Now to more serious matters, Sheffield Wednesday. After the performance today against Hull I think we may well have gained that bit of confidence we needed. Jeffers ( who has been the butt of jokes so far ) had a terrific game. as did Johnson, he was immense! Wednesday were passing the ball about beautifully and playing much like how they finished off last season. The fans were 100% behind them and the atmosphere was electric!

All I can say is Thank god I'm not a blunt! Like Jazzy pointed out, they were on Radio Sheffield after the match, whinging and groaning AGAIN! :hihi:

Yep I heard that on Radio Sheff. Don't have it on much but was in the car. It went something like " and another thing, if we didn't have Beattie we'd be below Wednesday ". Totally agree with you, if they'd beaten the likes of Scunny & Blackpool, not only would they be ecstatic but wouldn't have to put up with us laughing at them too. :hihi::hihi::hihi:

These are teams I would expect to beat normally. But it turned out that we struggled against these teams (well we didn't against Colchester, but they still got the point)

It's not really anything to be ashamed of, Scunnie's home record is very admirable. Blackpool was poor conditions with a poor second half, and Colchester, well we deserved the 3 points there......

I would have been happy with 3 points from all these games, and yes we would now be top, but the simple reality was we weren't good enough to do so. I'd be mightily pleased to be top at this point..... but it's a marathon ;)
