View Full Version : Neighbours - Do you Love them?
seriessix 16-09-2007, 11:40 PM Las night I went down to get a glass of water from the kitchen, as I looked out of of hall window I noticed my neighbor totally naked and covered with some kind of animal fat, she was fast asleep lying on the her lawn. Her husband was a few feet away strumming a dead goose as if it was a guitar. The thing was though, that they were quite silent and therefore were not causing any annoyance, which I suppose is great.
melthebell 16-09-2007, 11:43 PM not seen that show for years
Marooned 17-09-2007, 12:11 AM Our neighbour was once strumming his guitar totally naked in his back garden, evidently on occasion he can behave quite spontaneously though.
He was naked, not his guitar.

Last time we did that, we used goose fat, and I used a dead pigeon as a banjo instead. The neighbours wanted to come and join us :D

seriessix 17-09-2007, 07:08 PM I had to go into work earlier than normal today, when I was walking down the pathway I noticed my neighbors in their garden. The husband was scraping the grass with a small wooden oar while his wife gyrated next to barrel of vinegar. They were both totally silent though which I think is great.

Are magic mushrooms in season so early?
04jessops 17-09-2007, 07:23 PM I have to disagree with the title - not everyone has neighbours! :hihi:

Is this the lady who asks us to decide if her husband is unreasonable?
I suspect he may have been in training for next March's University Boat Race. And why not! He's entitled to practise, goddamnit!
seriessix 17-09-2007, 08:15 PM If their not hurting anyone are quiet and within the confines of their own property I do not see a problem with them.
cressida 17-09-2007, 08:41 PM one of my previous neighbours was spotted starkers in the dusk holding a torch (I hope it was a torch or he had a built-in light) only knew what he was up to the next day - looking for one of his pet rabbits (these days that excuse would have been suspect!!!)

BasilRathbon 18-09-2007, 12:25 PM My neighbours are currently building a zoo in their backyard. So far they have a polecat, two rats and a dachshund!
Would anyone in the know be able to tell me if they need planning permission for their zoo?
Figsta 18-09-2007, 12:28 PM The neighbours from my ex-family home used to wash both their vehicles at least twice a week, then rake their gravel with a broom.. we used to call the "the perfects".

Im afraid your wrong, maybe your nearest neighbour lives 2 miles away from you,he is still your neighbour, pedantic, but true
Joe90 18-09-2007, 02:47 PM would you call a house 2 miles away part of your neighbourhood?
seriessix 18-09-2007, 08:15 PM Yesterday, at around 11pm I went to let my cat in the back door, as looked out I could not help but notice both my neighbors in their garden. The husband was sat crossed legged quietly sobbing into large sponge cake while his wife was attempting a version of break dancing on a flattened out box. The thing was though that they were not making a noise and were inside the confines of their garden so I suppose that’s good.
Stormy 18-09-2007, 08:26 PM Haha thats funnier than yesterdays version. Can we have a video next time please
