I saw Ken Dodd at Blackpool years ago, how tickled i was.
He never swore once, perhaps chubby Brown could take a leaf there.
By the way, Ken Dodds protruding teeth are his fortune, he had normal teeth until he crashed his pushbike when he was a lad and hit his mouth on the handlebars!

Ken Dodd's crap, and why do people frown upon comiedians swearing?

It's like your saying that adding a swear word to a joke stops it being funny!

Funny is funny, weather there's swearing or not, i often think swearing enhances a joke, not that i'm crude or rude or swear like a trooper myself.

Chubby Brown WAS funny, now he seams to be raking in as much cash before he retiers, but his old stuff (the cassette tapes) are classics.

Anyone watch that "Comedians Comedian!" over new year, what a shocking list of no names and dead people.

Ricky Gervais, Peter Kay, and Steve Coogan, are the funniest man around, and not cos their "in fashion" in the minute.

If i was "in fashion" i'd like Little Britan, and i think that's rubbish.

Ooh, i love a good rant, :) not aimed at anyone, just voicing my opinions.

Yours are welcome!

I don't find ken dodd funny but hey hes made millions laugh so good on him.

I remember Ken Dodd being involved in a tax evasion scam. He was found not guilty. Shortly after he had to have open heart surgery, and on incision the surgeon found £20,000 stashed away!!!!

Oh Davegarry - you've actually sat right through a performance by Ken Dodd. As funny as he might be he does go on, and on, and on..... He even makes jokes about the audience missing the last bus home. His previous time in Sheffield he was on stage for nearly 5 hours! Lots of 'numbums' and missed buses then.

The mother-in-law went... apparently he finished at 12.45 and brought his flask and packing up onto stage halfway through!
