I have been doing a bit of family history and found out my great great grandfather was a monalizer by profession. Does anybody have an idea what this is. I have searched t'internet and can find nowt.

Me neither, but a monal is a pheasant, so was he a game keeper?

Handwritten script actually said "moraliser"

OR

He dressed up in ladies' clothes for Leonardo da Vinci to paint him!

So if a 'womaniser' is someone who has a more than healthy interest in women, God knows what a 'monaliser' got up to with pheasants!
