hi people. Ive moved back to sheffield a few mounth ago and i was just wondering if anybody knew of any hip hop open mic/battle nights or any clubs/bars that play hip hop.

be lucky to find any proper hip hop around sheffield nowadays,its all this cheesy commercial crap

there used to be a regular open mic session when jungle juice was on,but alas,it died

I do an open mic night at The Earl and I want people to come and do this sort of thing rather than the endless covers.
If you are up for it the next one is a week on Thursday.

The Forum has a hip hop night on a Monday with breakers and body popping. They have MC's down there sometimes and they had a break battle a few months ago maybe you could get involved with their night and organise something.
