Anybody has an experience with developer delaying your new built house? please tell me what can i do. they promised my house should be ready in end of Oct, but now, they told me end of Dec, potentially, end of Jan.
please share your experience with me. i need to negotiate with them.

hiya did you have a penalty clause written in the contract when work first started.if you did and the work is not finished in time the builder should be liable to pay you money back for the delay . i know this is not what you want ,you just want to move in but compensation might soften the blow a little

No, most of new built developer wont sign contract like this. because they know site could delay due to various reason, i.e. recent flooding, crap summer weather etc...
Eventhought, i still want to look for compensation from them. because i have to pay extra 2 month rental. i know they will argue i didnt need to start pay my mortgage. so i just need some good advices from people, how to tal to them nicely and get my compensation from them.
