WOW, this book is soooooooooo good. I don't read books but i thought i would give it a go lol. I swear it is so sad but it opens your eyes of what could be happening around you. You should REALLY REALLY REALLY buy it! If you have read it, what do you think?

oh my god!!! have just read it. threw the book to the floor quite a few times cos it was so affectual. that poor poor child. those so called parents want stringing up and flogging and then their throats cut along with all the other "aunts, uncles and grandads". I was disgusted, mortified, hurt, distressed and upset throughout the book. Was an insight as to how children are affected by abuse. And I for one did not realise how traumatised children can be. oh my God. Cathy was an absolute star. Jodi was at last lucky in her life and was sent to Cathy. the only good thing to happen to the child. It turned her life around for the better, although she will never be right. my heart goes out to her and all the other children that this happens to. :(

It's very probably a very good book, but I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to bring myself to read it. We don't have kids of our own, but we quite often look after relatives kids and the mere thought that someone would wish to harm children enrages me to quite a degree. I honestly would kill to protect them.

Very true, i thought it was really good and it really opens your eyes. You know there are horrible people out there but it's just sooo horrible...
