I know this is a daft question but I've tried to find it a few times and can only find about 2 houses. People keep saying how lovely it is there and even that it gets 'quite busy' but all I can see is fields. I can't even find it on googlearth.

WHERE IS IT?! :confused::D

Ta!

There are two villages - Low Bradfield and High Bradfield and a very steep hill (Woodfall lane) between them. They are out past Dungworth and can be reached on a 61 or 62 rural bus.

well i presume you are talking about Low Bradfield (the main village) - it has a pub 'The Plough' and it has a post office and a garage and a park and cricket pitch. oh and an icecream van. it does get busy at the sunny weekends.

you just drive all the way round Dam Flask and carry on and you end up in Low Bradfield.

If you are talking about High Bradfield then it is smaller and only has one pub The Old Horns- and a church. Thats just up the hill from Low Brad.

I love both places and am there most weekends at some point!!

Ta!

Find Dam Flask and it's on the opposite side of the dam to the Loxley Valley.

Well Oughtibridge isn't short of pubs...and there are a couple more up the road in Worrrall.

The drive from Oughtibridge up Church street and Burnt Hill lane to Bradfield gives some lovely views over the moors....and you look down on Crookes from up there :D

So you bought a house here then!
Welcome to 'old Oughtie' the finest village in Sheffield!
Yes I am biased!
The Old Horns in High Bradfield is a nicer pub and the views are splendid. The cuisine is not bad either.
