One Cornish couple plan the greenest wedding they can (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/cornwall/6993194.stm)

Seems a nice idea I guess (although its not for me). I like the idea of blossom confetti, even the wooden rings maybe - but outfits from charity shops and flowers made from plastic bags..? :gag:

I suppose all the hard work will certainly make it a very unique day.

i think it sounds a great idea (although i'm not sure how the carrier bag flowers will look - wonder if they used netto bags for a bit of colour??!) good luck to them, sounds like a better planned day than an impersonal hotel do!

Surely non biodegradable plastic flowers are going to be less environmentally friendly than lopping the heads of a few roses?

I would have thought so...

I suppose the idea is that they are recycling the carrier bags. :confused:
