Having split up with my husband and most of my friends on holiday or gone travelling etc...i am pretty much on my own this weekend.

I am going to go to the gym as usual, but want something a bit more interesting to do.

I have just bought my car so can travel. In particular, i would like to know if there are any food markets on in the area. Suggestions appreciated x

Well, apart from spending the weekend with me you could try Doncaster market, quite a few nice food bits inside the Corn Exchange bit.

How about a trip into The Peak District. There are some great food pubs there to eat at and plenty of scenery (if you like hills).

Or, Blackpool Illuminations. Blackpool is always a fun and lively place.

According to your profile you're 24, so you can't always believe what you read! ;)

Why don't you come along with the Sheffield Forum Walking Group to Eyam for a wander round on Sunday. There are some really nice people turn up every week, all ages and mainly single and they'll make you very welcome. I've been walking with them regularly since last year and made some great friends there.
Normally there's around 10 people, and it's all very easy-going.
To find out more have a look at the thread for it under the Special Interests section.
