Lound Jnr:School struck a chord with me ,although I went there many years ago.1949-50.
I believe my teacher was Mrs Bradshaw.
We used to be bused there from Parson Cross

Do you remember the air raid shelter in the back field.

I went back to lound school recently where the Chapeltown and High Green archive were doing a weekend display and no one was sure about the air raid shelter. iv`e not dreamt it have I?

No - I remember it being capped off with a big square of concrete on the field. It has been filled in now.

Can you resurrect the class picture?

If this is the same photo i am thinking of ,(a class photo) it would appear one of the girls sitting in the front row did not have any undergarments on .
I reported this to the forum and they removed the post
