In an effort to "brighten up" Sheffield Forum, you might want to add a small picture below your username (mine is currently that smiley icon). Getting an image (it could be a photo, cartoon etc) under your name is very easy.
Step 1
First you need to click here:
http://www.freeavatars.net
Step 2
Browse that site until you find an image you like. Right click in the middle of the image and save it to your computer. Next you need to resize the image to 50 pixels wide, by 50 high. You can resize images in Microsoft paint or any other picture editor.
Step 3
Come back to Sheffield Forum and click the profile button (http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/profile.php?mode=editprofile). When the profile page loads, scroll down and you will see the option to upload your picture (avatar) to the forum.
Step 4
You're all done!

If you don't know how to resize images, then simply find a picture that you like and email it to: avatars@sheffieldforum.co.uk - I will then do all of work for you :) Please make the Subject of your email "Avatar for Sheffield Forum" - also make sure you include your username.
