About 5 years ago the other halfs mother planted 3 orange pips. All of which grew. We were donated one which has since grown to about 6 foot tall (and is still growing). It is kept in the bedroom in front of a south facing window and is loving it. It smells lovely as well. The only problem we have is that it wont flower or fruit. In the 5 years we have had it never has it shown a sign of flowering. We feed it during the summer and winter with the relevant citrus feeds. The tree is very healthy looking and always has new growth appearing but no flowers. Will it ever flower/fruit?

Possibly not. I read something somewhere that they are very hard to get to fruit from "pip" sowings. Don't give up on it though. lol. Look on the bright side......it is a lovely foliage plant and smells fantastic.

Dont get me wrong its a lovely tree just would be nice for it to at least flower every now and then and maybe stop growing up and start bushing out.

Most bought citrus tree's are grafted. Check out the citrus centre, they might have some tips.

The plant was grown form seed and is fed summer and winter citrus feeds. It is obviously very healthy but just not interested in flowering.
