Has anyones child ever had one of these? Basically its a tight lycra suit (duh! lol) thats worn during the day and is supposed to increase awareness of muscles ect.....my son is getting measured up for one tomorrow and although I've been told by proffessionals that they can work I'd love to hear from someone who's child has been down this route!

My child does not have one but I have a friend who lives in Bedford and her son with severe hypotonia has one and she says it has made a huge difference to his ability to maintain his own posture.

I have a friend in Edinburgh and her daughter has one. She was unable to get one from the NHS, but I know thinks it's great. Her daughter has CP.

Well my son has got his bodysuit today! Was supposed to be Tuesday but a bit of a mix up grrr. Anyway I'm quite impressed, he didnt cry when they were putting it on him and it looks better than I expected - he looks like a little surfer dude in a wetsuit! All he needs is a VW camper now!
