I am trying to connect to the wireless at work with my laptop
I typed in the key somebody gave me, and its connected fine

only problem, i have is each time i try to connect to the internet it try's to connect through bt broadband (my home isp provider) instead of the wireless router (which i think is through demon)

Any ideas :)

in internet explorer click "tools" > "internet options"

then click the "connections" tab on the pop up

then check "Dial whenever a network connection is not present"

ok the dialogue

now it should dial whenever you are at home, when you are at work then connect to the local net and it shouldn't ask you to dial as long as you are connected
