Can you use an xbox 360 webcam on your PC without using the xbox, if you know what I mean

If its a USB connection then you should be able to. Plug it and see?

We don't want to break seal & open it if its no good for PC
Never used 1 before so we've got no idea how it works, its a xbox 360 live webcam with headphone, I bought it for my son but I wanted to know if it can be used for his PC or are they all the same

If its the official Microsoft 'Live Vision' then Yeah, its just a USB webcam. The 360 accessories have been designed to be used with PC as well. The 360 Pad is a brilliant controller for the Pc too.
