fight club - without a shadow - a 1 and 1/2 hour pop video with an outstanding sound track - I can't begin o tell you how much it means to me. I list some inspirational quotes

"When deep space exploration ramps up,
it will be corporations that name
everything. The IBM Stellar Sphere.
The Philip Morris Galaxy. Planet
Starbucks."

"Our generation has had no Great Depression, no Great War.
Our war is spiritual. Our depression is our lives."

"You are not your job.
You are not how much you have in the bank.
You are not the contents of your wallet.
You are not your ****ing Khakis.
You are not a beautiful and unique snowflake.
You are the all-singing, all-dancing crap of
the world."

"It's only after you've lost everything
that you're free to do anything."

"After fighting, everything else in your life has
got the volume turned down."

To me it stands against everything i despise in the world - globalisation - capitalism - corporate marketing and calls for a need within the depressed mass to reach back to a primitive self - a fight - a refusal to conform - an act of terror.

**** professionalism! Its foney and is only adopted to keep the poor under its spell. why don't we all throw a sicky tomorrow or better still, start a fight with your team leader. Brothers and sisters we can do it. "I am Jack's raging bile duct"

And a man who would have loved fight club, Bill Hicks, who died over 10yrs ago at just 32. He was a shining lighthouse on the dark shore of corporate America - he makes michael moore look just silly. God bless you Bill for your towering intellect.

Hmmm.....quite a few....

The Shawshank Redemption
Field of Dreams
The Master and Margarita
Ray Bradbury's stories for making me want to write.
Pulp Fiction - started me thinking about making films
Jerry Maguire
Wagner, Faure for classical music
