I have decided to subscibe to the yorkshire cable offer of 3 services for £30,has anyone else took up this offer and is it worth it?
I had freeview but the picture was up and down so this ought to be better and to have broad band ought to be better also.
Anyone got any experience of cable??

I've been with telewest for over two years now with the cable/ Tv/ phone package.

I was wondering if they have better deals for new customers, is it better to cancel ( I'm out of contract) and then re-join? Is it it like mobile phones when you threaten to cancel they offer you an upgrade and a cheaper deal?

Just thought I might be able to save some pennies!

I'm pretty p1553D with TW @ the moment.

We had the "Supreme" package from them since 2002.

Now they have decided not to pay for Nicklodeon et al. Just dropped the channels in the run-up to Xmas, with no drop in price.

Am now seriously thinking of dropping the TV from them & going direct to Sky!

We've been on cable since 1999, had Sky briefly but just isn't worth it - there's far too many channels than is feasable to watch and films are repeated ad nauseum.

We have a basic cable TV package (for phone and broadband) and subscribe to a DVD rental company - it's half the price of Sky and you choose the films you want.

And cable broadband p***es all over ADSL!

Currently, this is TeleWest's only redeeming feature. :-(
