I went to see this at the weekend, I was expecting something decent as everyone tells me Simon Pegg films are normally quite good.
To me it seemed so unrealistic(yes I know it's a film) a guy decides to do a marathon with 3 weeks of training, how stupid! The guy in the film smokes and is generally of below average fitness.
He then sprains his ankle after one mile, but does the other 25 almost walking on the ankle then collapses just before the end. Then his ex who he was trying to win back and his son run to the finish line he sees them gets up like he's just come out of the blocks in a sprint and legs it into there arms.
It seemed to me like all the funny bit of the film were used in the adverts, it dragged basically. If your going to go and watch it prepare to be disapointed.
