I seem to be in the majority in voting for 'pointless abuse', although (maybe it was just me) the choices seem a little bit bias. :D It's obvious that some people have an axe to grind with this forum, and make it very clear on the other sheffield forum, so i'm guessing they are just trying to cause trouble on here. The only problem with that is that it doesn't hurt the mods or admin that they have the grudge against, but the people who are actually trying to use the forum. I felt sorry for the person whose thread was closed yesterday after asking for help with a serious problem. venger 09-01-2005, 17:00 Originally posted by Snook I felt sorry for the person whose thread was closed yesterday after asking for help with a serious problem. That is what tipped my scale, not meant to cause trouble, honestly! hazel 09-01-2005, 17:06 Snook So do I, I feel that it lets that person down Which is why I posted my Thread I thought it ougt to be noted. hazel poppins 09-01-2005, 17:10 Originally posted by hazel Snook So do I, I feel that it lets that person down Which is why I posted my Thread I thought it ougt to be noted. hazel Must have missed it, what prroblem did they ask about ? I would like to see the original thread trimmed and reoppend though, so that people could still post on it if they wished. The argument that took place had nothing to do with the threads content. That's just my humble opinion though. Snook 09-01-2005, 17:13 Originally posted by poppins Must have missed it, what prroblem did they ask about ? The thread is still there poppins, it's just closed. It was about depression. I believe that the trouble that led to the banning was in hazel's thread that has been deleted... could be wrong though. sheffieldfox 09-01-2005, 17:18 Threads like this! poppins 09-01-2005, 17:22 Originally posted by Snook The thread is still there poppins, it's just closed. I agree, in fact you two ought to have been named in the poll as well :heyhey: :heyhey: :heyhey: Tracie 09-01-2005, 17:36 Originally posted by venger That is what tipped my scale, not meant to cause trouble, honestly! The thread everyone is referring is one I posted yesterday on how people recover from clinical depression. I was shocked this morning when I saw that it had been closed, although when I read through the posts it became clear why. Its a shame, but I do think Joe did the right thing. There is no point in letting people using various threads for random, off the topic Moderator bashing. I'll be voting for pointless abuse too! Tracie :) RPG 09-01-2005, 17:41 Sorry guys, gonna have to close this one down. Its only gonna cause arguments |
