Am interested in learning to play the drums and hopefully getting a starter kit - have looked on ebay and spoken to a guy who I know plays them but wondered if anyone on here had any pointers? All advice gratefully received!

think we are far enough away for you not to hear me - and was intending using mufflers anyway lol

My advice is have a few lessons before buying anything, as there is quite a lot of natural coordination needed and it is certainly not for everyone. See how well you take to it first before paying out.
