I've got a buggered internal extension - it's only a basic one that runs from a splitter out of the front of the master socket, up the stairs and into a secondary BT socket upstairs.

Problem is, I don't have the cable (I want copper not aluminium - an ADSL router runs off the upstairs socket), I don't have crimpers etc, and I've never done it before so I'd probably make a bit of a mess of it doing it first time round.

Anyone got the tools, cable and experience?

Its easy, you can get all the bits in Wilkinsons, or improvise with a flat bladed knife, just take an existing one to bits and look how its wired - the wires are jammed down slots that cut through the insulation.
