It is a nightmare.
I have to go to the Childrens hosp every day.
I drive to Meadowhall then catch a tram to the university and repeat to get home.

I forget the name of it but there is a church by the side of the Hallamshire and they let cars park in their car park, they used to ask for a donation to be put in a box in the foyer and on a side note the church is a nice place if you need to have a quiet sit and think time. My info may be out of date so make sure you check for signs after all no-one wants to be clamped.

I'm up there reasonably often too, I find parking on Glossop Road can be useful, free etc, but be very careful of the side streets, most have residents only parking.
If you drive just past the main vehicle entrance to the Hallamshire up Glossop Road ther eis a hotel on the left and a school on the right, once you've passed the school parking restrictions there is another freeparking area on the road. Admittedly it is an extra walk but normally parking is available up there.
The church sounds a much better option though.

The church definitely clamps.

I dont know if believing in Jesus gives immunity.
